Yeah, that’s it. It’s also been a different jumper and .. and .. bugger it ! – I’ve forgotten the first thing it was when I’d just bought the yarn. It’s Lion Brand Mandala, which I found I loathe; hence the frequent attempts to produce an article I didn’t.
Yeah yeah, I know I said and all that. But I’m a frightful liar. Yous should all know that by now. [grin]
Can anyone explain to me why all the various kinds of running shoes have those ugly turned-up toes ? – I really hate them because they make feet look like jokes.
Anyway, this is its final config.: I won’t be frogging this version. In fact, even though it’s bloody Mandala, I rather like it. And I’m SO HAPPY that I actually used all those cakes that had been re-wound on my yarn-baller so many times .. I feel virtuous. I AM virtuous. But that’s another thing yous all know ..
looks fab and so do you xxx

Exactly the kind of snuggly sweater I’d pull on and off ten times a day. As for the shoes, I’ve always assumed the turned up rubber soles are just to keep wearers from kicking out the toes of the fabric uppers. Or maybe it’s a manufacturing necessity, something about securing the rubber sole to the upper. I’d never really thought about it.

How did I miss this comment earlier ? Bloody WordPress. Honestly, sometimes I swear I’m going to move to a different platform; but then I remember that all of yous wouldn’t be there.
Some things in life are impossible. Sighhhh ..

I’ve occasionally gone looking for another platform and none offered as much as WordPress. But if you should move, just give us a heads up and we’ll follow.

You’re right, of course. Once I tried Typepad, and I quite liked it. But the building up of people to share thoughts with never happened; and it had a cost factor as well.
I wouldn’t mind trying out Blogger; but I’ve never been able to keep my concentration going sufficiently well to get a site happening.
And as I can’t decide on a central topic, I just kinda mumble along here, occasionally giving vent to loud swearing. 😀

I was on Blogger a long time ago, before WordPress. Never tried Typepad. Tried Medium for a little while and it was very nice as far as it went. But WordPress offers so much designwise that it beats everything else I’ve looked at.

I love your blanket jacket, M-R. It’s colorful and very attractive. You wear it well! As for the shoes, good question. I don’t know the “why” but they are sure to be expected with the current styles. You look very stylish! 🙂

That is a phrase that I do not recall ever having been said to me before, you beautiful creature ! – and I thank you hugely for it !!
So obviously it’s better as a cardi than it was as a blanket. Very satisfying. 😀

I haven’t been around for ages M-R – busy moving house – but that cardigan looks terrific. And I like the shoes as well. Very stylish indeed!

So where are you now, Sue, after the ghastliness of moving ?

I’m up in the Northern Rivers M-R – just south of Port Macquarie. The area is going gangbusters, houses going up everywhere, but Bathurst was the same. I’m in a quiet corner away from the crowds! I have old friends here from living here long ago.
Friends back in Bathurst are going nuts from the now-every-weekend car races at the Mount and the crowds and traffic they bring in.
I fear our koalas in this area are doomed – they are coastal critters and the trees are being felled everywhere I look.
On the plus side, our local library has an incredible collection of opera and classical music films – who’d have thought!

That was indeed A Move !! 🙂
It’s horrible to think of development’s being so brutal to the koalas; and it’s happening in more places than where you are now. I can’t help wondering what we’re going to think of ourselves when we’ve managed to make them extinct. 😦

I love the blanket/sweater! It looks warm and cozy, with colors that definitely attract my eye. You did an excellent job with it, M-R, and glad you landed on something you are happy with.

I wrote a reply. It vanished. I am becoming less and less enamoured of WordPress. Sighh ..
Thank-you, my dear M-J: I think those lovely autumn colours are what have kept making me hang on to the yarn, even after all the froggings.

Knitting is an art form, one which you appear to excel at. I tried, but my end products were laughable. Me thinks I do better knitting together a blog post. 😁

I am going to forgive you for describing my crochet as knitting.
I used to knit, but arthritis in my hands – especially the left one – has put paid to that. And I can still crochet only because I do it in a VERY .. ahhh .. unusual manner. So it can pay to be an off-the-wall kind of person.
And you do indeed perform excellently with your blog, M-J: you have followers who have been there for years and years ! – since the days when you used to ride a MOTORBIKE !!!

Oops, sorry! Crocheting is an art form too, also something I am no good at. Consider me corrected!
