I absolutely stand with Ukraine. In my thoughts, in my prayers, and in my grief for what the U.S. is responsible for in turning our back on Zelensky and the people of this proud country. I’m in my 70’s and I’ve seen some U.S. foolishness through the years, but I’ve never been so embarrassed to be an American. I hope in my lifetime it will be possible to remove the stain that has tarnished the U.S. reputation. But I’m not sure that’s going to be possible. 😢

When Trump was elected, I posted an apology to the world. I knew things were going to be bad. But what’s happened since then is beyond anything I’d imagined or feared.

I am just reading a memoir starting with Latvia in WW2, and am reading about more brutality from a certain quarter. A little corner of WW2 history that I know nothing about, but am learning fast.
It’s becoming clearer by the day that the only thing, the only thing the “orange radon” seems to respect is might and winning.
